I have been a patient of Dr. Jay for over 15 years and he has done crowns on teeth and implants, filled cavities and looked out for my overall dental health. Dr. Jay and his longtime staff are cheerful, friendly, skilled and experienced and genuinely care about my dental care and health. My experience on my recent office visit is a good example of their thorough treatment. I had been experiencing no dental problems and was there for my routine checkup and cleaning. My longtime hygienist, Vicki, noticed some pocketing and bleeding in the gum around my implant that she had not found on earlier visits. She pointed out the condition to Dr. Jay who gave me a blue-dye bite test. According to Dr. Jay, there was a point sticking up from the tooth that was causing it drag the implant creating the gum problem. If untreated this could have caused further gum and bone damage which could cause the expensive implant to fail. They ground the tooth so hopefully the problem is fixed.
